Let your former boss sweat but don’t answer any questions from someone without the guts to fire you in person.

So sorry, I no longer work for you so can’t answer your questions because I am not employed by that company. You want me to answer anyway? Well, sorry but I charge a consulting fee for what your are asking so you can either sign a contract with me or find someone else to ask. I am the only one with the answers? Oh my, you should have thought of that before firing me because now, the cost is $xxx per question. Go back to work for you? Not happening since X company is in contact with me about working for them (pick your companies biggest rival and put in an application immediately on the first workday so it is true).
